2013 Agnes Water Blues and Roots Festival

Agnes Blues and Roots is held yearly at the SES Grounds in Agnes Water.

This year we’ll be adding a second stage for soloists, duos and trios to perform during major change-overs on the main stage. The second stage will be a great opportunity for up and coming young artists to showcase their talents to the festival audience.

We'll also be bringing market stalls inside the expanded compound as well as an expanded Harley and Hot Rod Show to create a real event atmosphere.

To add to all that we're sourcing new food options to give festival patrons a wider and healthier choice over the three days. Mouth-watering stuff.

Back this year by popular demand will be Joe Camilleri & the Black Sorrows, Phil Emmanuel and Mason Rack Band as well as some old favourites.

We're also pretty stoked about the 10 new bands we’ll be bringing to the Festival including 8Ball Aitken, The Hipshooters, L'l Fi, Kate Leahy plus Devil's Kiosk (formerly Blind Lemon) the winners of the "Peoples Choice Award" at this year's Memphis Blues Challenge.

The Blues and Roots festival is an all ages event. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children under the age of 14 are admitted free. Each adult can accompany up to two children free of charge.
